I'm thrilled to share with you some of the fascinating insights I've gathered during my internship here at Onest Realty. My name is Abhianjali Tanaji Rachkar, and over the past few months, I've been diving deep into the realm of social media engagement within the real estate sector.

Aim: Unraveling the Threads of Social Media Engagement

In today's digital age, social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook are crucial avenues for marketing and customer interaction. My aim has been to understand how customer engagement on these platforms translates into real business outcomes for the real estate sector.



Project Scope: Demographics and Metrics

One of the key aspects of my project has been analyzing the demographic characteristics of users engaging with real estate ads on Facebook and Instagram. Additionally, I've been comparing important engagement metrics such as reach, impressions, and clicks between the two platforms.

Lessons Learned: Insights from the Trenches

Through this journey, I've gained some valuable insights:

  • Understanding the Audience: By understanding the demographic composition of our audience, including their age groups, locations, and interests, we can tailor our content to better resonate with them.

  • Trends and Preferences: It's essential to stay updated with consumer preferences and industry trends. This understanding helps us remain competitive and relevant in the market.

  • The Power of Visual Content: Visual content is king when it comes to social media engagement. Compelling images and videos consistently attract higher levels of interaction.

  • Hashtags as Gateways: Utilizing relevant hashtags can significantly increase the visibility of our content, leading to higher engagement rates.

  • Brand Image and Engagement: Building a positive brand image requires active engagement with our audience. Responding to comments and feedback fosters trust and credibility.

In conclusion, the analysis of customer engagement on Instagram and Facebook has provided us with invaluable insights into the world of real estate marketing.
